Install garden lighting

Anyone can install our garden lighting quickly and without needing an installer. View the steps below for the explanation or watch one of our installation videos here.

Choose your lighting

Step 1

Within our wide range, you can choose the fixtures with which you want to attractively illuminate your garden, driveway, fence, pond or roof.

Choose a transformer

Step 2

Because our system works on 12 volts, a transformer is needed to convert high voltage to low voltage. The total wattage of the lighting selected by you determines the wattage of the required transformer. To calculate this, add up the number of Watts of the lamps + accessories. Then you can choose a 24, 60 or 150-Watt transformer. Tip: always make sure you have some leeway in terms of wattage in case you want to add a lamp and/or accessory later.

Choose the cable length you need. Also select the connectors and other products that provide extra convenience. Installing garden lighting really can be this easy!

What is the advantage of Flex cables?

The Flex main cables have no fixed connection points; this means that you can connect the lights anywhere on the cable using the Flex connector. Additionally, you can easily cut the Flex cables to size.

What is the difference between the screw connector and the flex connector?

You can use screw connectors with either SPT-1 or SPT-3 cables, depending on which screw connector you use. The Flex connector can only be used with the Flex main cables (SPT-2).

What is the difference between the female and male flex connectors?

You can use a female connector to connect a light to the main cable and a male connector to connect the cable to the transformer or create an extension.

Does the cable have to be buried?

The Garden Lights system operates on 12 volts, which is low voltage. Low-voltage cables do not need to be buried.

I have cut my Flex cable to size; what must I do with the open end?

You do not have to do anything with the open end. This is harmless. If you want to seal it neatly, you can use the caps provided or some tape.
